9.8.2018. Afghanistan Football Federation announced the roster for Afghanistan national team that will be facing Palestine in the upcoming friendly match on August 19. 2018 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The list includes many new faces that are invited by head coach Anoush Dastgir. There are also many players that have been central part of the team for a long time but can not make it to the game due to club obligations injuries and personal matters.

It is worth mentioning that Milad Salem and Maziar Kouhyar were both invited to the game and both of them had accepted the invitation and confirmed that they will be available to play against Palestine. But last minute they cancelled due to club obligations and also some person matter. Kouhyar was restricted by his club management but will be available for games that fall on FIFA day. Milad Salem will most likely miss the game because he is in talks with a club and his potential trail or training session falls during those days. The rumours circulating social media that he can not make it because of bad treatment he received from national team management is FALSE.
